HOW TO ORDER ONLINE USING THE BRONCO SHOP SCHOLARSHIP

If a student received confirmation from Boise State University Financial Aid and Scholarships for Bronco Shop Scholars and wishes to place an online order the following information may be useful:

  1. The Bronco Shop Scholarship allows up to $500.00 for the entire school year to be spent on the purchase of textbook, course materials, and select technology.
    • Students can choose to use all $500.00 in the first semester or use it for both semesters. The $500.00 amount will be available to use at any time throughout the school year.
  2. Purchasing textbooks with the Bronco Shop Scholarship allows for students to order all textbooks including “Required”,  “Alt Required” and “Recommended” textbooks.
    • If multiple versions of the same textbook are available via the "alt required" listing, pick the version you prefer (ex: an e-book versus a physical hardback book)
    • If a student purchases multiple "alt required" items (i.e., multiple versions of the same item), we will send one of the alt required items, and will cancel the other item(s) from the order unless notified otherwise.
    • Any textbooks placed on order which are not listed as "required" or "alt required" on the booklist are subject to being canceled from the order.
    • If a required or alt-required textbook is out of stock or not available on the Bronco Shop website, the student may special order the item via our Special Order Form.
    • If any part of an order is changed by the Bronco Shop team, we will contact the student via email.
  3. When Bronco Shop Scholarship students are ready to place an order for textbooks, proceed through the normal ordering process at boisestatebooks.com/textbooks.asp until reaching the checkout/cart page.
    • Enter all needed shipping information.
      • Ship via "UPS OR FEDEX GROUND", "ON CAMPUS DELIVERY", or pick up in-store via "STUDENT UNION STORE PICK UP" (if available).
    • Under payment method, select "BRONCO SHOP SCHOLARSHIP" for course materials/textbooks, not supplies.
      • Input Student ID in the "Account Student ID Area". NOTE: students will be alerted if their account is invalid. If this happens, contact broncoshopaccounts@boisestate.edu to ensure the account is available.
  4. Please allow approximately 48 hours for our team to process and ship account orders.
    • If we have to change any part of the order, or an item is out of stock, we will contact the student via email.
    • All orders are subject to being changed if:
      • Multiple versions of the same textbook are on the order (listed as "alt required").
      • Books listed as "Recommended" are on the order (only "required" or "alt required" books can be purchased).
      • An item is out of stock.
      • Unauthorized items are on the order.

INCLUSIVE ACCESS with SCHOLARSHIPS at the BRONCO SHOP

When viewing your booklist, if you see an option for an “Inclusive Access” title, that means this title is currently being charged onto your Student Center Account, with an “E-Textbook” description associated with the charge.

If you are under a scholarship and/or account associated with the Bronco Shop, and would like this charge removed from your Student Center Account and instead charged onto your scholarship/account, please email broncoshopaccounts@boisestate.edu. The following information is required:

  • The course ID (ex: MATH 175-001)
  • The book/title's ISBN number
  • Your Student ID

The Bronco Shop will then review your email and contact you within the next 2 business days.

As a reminder, DO NOT CLICK OPT-OUT on your Booklist, unless you are certain you do not want access to your course materials. If you Opt-Out you will lose your access if you are past the opt out deadline. For more information on Inclusive Access, please click here.
